Courses Available

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry has available the following courses which may currently be taken by asynchronous learning:

I. General Chemistry I

This is CHEM 1211, which is the introductory chemistry course for science, pre-med, pre-vet, pre-pharmacy, and pre-engineering majors. High school chemistry is the prerequisite for this course.

II. General Chemistry II

This is CHEM 1212, which is the introductory chemistry course for science, pre-med, pre-vet, pre-pharmacy, and pre-engineering majors. CHEM 1211 is the prerequisite for this course.

III. Survey of Chemistry I

This is CHEM 1151, which is the first semester of a two-semester course in introductory chemistry primarily intended for pre-nursing students. This course is still under construction with plans to offer it the spring semester of 2001.

IV. Survey of Chemistry II

This is CHEM 1152, which is the second semester of a two-semester course in introductory chemistry primarily intended for pre-nursing students. This course is still under construction with plans to offer it the spring semester of 2001.
